ABOUT CATHAL

FROM CONSTRUCTION TO CONVERSATION.

Cathal Quinn is a business leader, speaker and mental health advocate with more than 20 years of experience working in construction, critical infrastructure and international business.

But his career is not a conventional leadership story.

It is a story of ambition, mistakes, recovery, second chances, international growth and learning how to lead without losing sight of the person behind the performance.

MY story

i didn’t start out as a ceo

I started in sales within the construction industry, learning the realities of business first-hand.

Over the years, I progressed through multiple roles, building experience across commercial, operational and leadership functions before eventually leading MOY Group as CEO.

From the outside, it might look like a typical success story.

But like many people operating in high-performance environments, there were challenges happening beneath the surface.

THE PRESSURE

THE STRESS

THE BURNOUT

THE HABITS WE DEVELOP

Experiences like these changed how I think about leadership and ultimately led me to become more involved in mental health advocacy and wellbeing conversations.

Today, I speak openly about leadership, resilience, burnout, addiction, recovery and the importance of creating healthier workplace cultures.

Not from theory. From experience.

WHAT I BELIEVE

PEOPLE FIRST

Businesses perform best when people feel supported, valued and connected.

SUSTAINABLE PERFORMANCE

Success should never come at the expense of wellbeing.

CURIOSITY BEATS CERTAINTY

The best answers often emerge when different perspectives meet.

LEADERSHIP THROUGH ACTION

Culture is built through behaviours, not slogans.
